The Glasenbachklamm (Gorge of the Glasenbach)…
… is located on the municipal border of the Mozart city of Salzburg. This natural monument, which is also geologically interesting, is easy to walk or bike from Elsbethen-Glasenbach, even for families. Sufficient water level provided it offers some beautiful pools for Wilddipping in the Glasenbach.
Salzburg is nearby
Coming from the city of Salzburg you turn around 200 meters after the bridge over the Glasenbach left and after a few hundred meters reaches the parking lot of the Glasenbachklamm. From here, all kinds of display boards accompany the route through the gorge, which is also suitable for cyclists. 
The Glasenbach – refreshing but not icy
For a torrent, the Glasenbach has quite human temperatures. In summer, however, it is often not easy to find a place in a nice bathing area. All in all, the bathing pleasure or the selection of suitable bathing places depends very much on the respective water level. It is worthwhile after a hike through the gorge, for which one should estimate about 45 minutes, a stop in the Inn Ramsau at the upper end of the gorge.
